Keith Conquest is a Colorado Springs resident.

In 1969 Mr. Conquest lived in Warren, Michigan, where among other things, he was a reserve police officer. In 1969, he also had several guns stolen from him.

Now, one of those guns has made its way back to Mr. Conquest.

The unique hand gun was a Colt model, manufactured in 1967 to commemorate the first World War. Recently, through unknown circumstances, the pistol ended up back at the Warren Police Department.

Through some online research, Warren P.D. was able to locate Mr. Conquest in Colorado Springs. Warren P.D. contacted the Colorado Springs Police Department, where it turns out Mr. Conquest had been a volunteer.

The Warren Police Department sent the gun to Springs P.D. who then returned the hand gun to Mr. Conquest.

Conquest said he "appreciates very greatly" everyone who was involved in returning the gun to him.
