A major project in downtown Colorado Springs has reached its halfway point.
Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers was on hand to watch crews lift the final structural beam onto the building that will house the Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame in downtown Colorado Springs.
”I hope folks have had a chance to drive by this facility and see it come out of the ground," Suthers said. "It’s going to be a state of the art building in design and in terms of the exhibits, it’s just going to be world class."
Construction is expected to finish by next summer.
