Photos show extent of damage to Colorado Springs Airport after fire

Posted

Photos presented to the Colorado Springs City Council at the council’s work session showed the severity of water damage on the three levels of the airport from a fire last Monday night.

The fire closed the airport last Tuesday, before it reopened Wednesday.

Water damage caused ceiling tiles to fall, water to damage carpets and administrative offices at the facility as well as other vendors located in the building. United Airlines suffered some of the worst water damage.
