Our News5 Athlete of the Week is a dominant pair from Cheyenne Mountain.
Ally Arenson and Casey Ahrendsen won their fourth straight doubles state title at the 4A state tennis meet in Pueblo. The Indians won their ninth straight team title that weekend.
The pair won 6-1, 6-0 for their fourth title in a row.
Arenson said she knew the moment they wouldn’t play together again was coming close but she held it together until almost the very end.
"I broke down when I started serving, knowing this could be our last point. We looked at each other right before I served and I almost choked up, when I saw it go out, I realized we’re done… we’re done, we’re not playing with each other again."
