KOAA’s Athlete of the Week is Lewis-Palmer guard Billy Cook.
Cook is averaging over 13 points a game for the Rangers and has helped them reach the 4A Final Four. They play 2 seed Pueblo South on Friday evening at the Denver Coliseum. The winner of that game plays for the state title on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Rangers haven’t lost since the beginning of January. They are excited to see what The Colts bring to the court for Friday’s match up.
"I’m excited to see what they bring, what they decide to throw at us offensively and defensively but we’re just going to focus on us and just play the game we’ve been playing for a while."
Tip off is set for 5:30pm.
