Our News5 athlete of the week is a state champ.
Pine Creek senior quarterback Brock Domann threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in a 36-14 win over Broomfield in the 4A State title game last Saturday.
The Eagles offensive onslaught and defensive pressure kept Broomfield from scoring in the second half and securing the victory for Pine Creek. It was their third state title in four years.
"They came out with a strong punch but they can’t play with us for four quarters – no one can," Domann said. "We proved that each and every week and we came out with a state title."
