Maggie Bryan is a Multimedia Journalist for KOAA News5 in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
It has been a dream for her to move to Colorado after traveling to the state countless times throughout her childhood.
She is originally from Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism and a minor in Spanish from the University of Missouri.
It was there she discovered a passion for storytelling while reporting for the university’s NBC-affiliated news station. She covered stories about mid-Missouri’s economy during the pandemic, community gun violence, homelessness, state legislation, and more.
Maggie treasures the time she gets with her family, friends, and two dogs. Going to concerts, doing yoga, and cooking are a few of her favorite ways to spend her time. She’s excited to explore the outdoors in “Colorful Colorado” and is on the hunt to find the best coffee-flavored ice cream in town.
She’s excited to bring her Midwest roots to Southern Colorado and shine light on the stories and perspectives of the community.
