Get Outdoors This Summer! is a social media campaign in which Colorado residents are encouraged to get outdoors.
Typically, Colorado Springs holds a one-day event called Get Outdoors Day at Memorial Park at the beginning of June, but this year's event was canceled because of COVID-19.
Organizers of Get Outdoors Day still hoped to inspire families to have fun outside, so they created monthly calendars packed with fun ideas.
For instance, they suggest a Rainbow Falls geology walk or finding animal tracks. Each day, their Facebook page is updated with daily challenges.
