Alasyn Zimmerman joins the KOAA News 5 team as reporter and weekend morning anchor after spending two years in the northern Rockies with KIFI/KIDK in Idaho Falls, ID. While in Idaho she did a little bit of everything including anchoring the morning and noon shows, producing, and reporting.
Sam Kraemer knew he found a career in broadcast journalism the day he was named an ‘anchor’ for his elementary school newscast in 6th grade. Now, the Wisconsin native is living his dream, joining the KOAA News Team as a reporter.

Benjamin Lloyd joined News5 as the Digital Executive Producer in December 2016, following up on 10 years as the Digital Content Manager for KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas, also part of the Cordillera Communications group of television stations.
Tom Kackley joined News 5 in May 2016 as a television newscast producer. In mid-2017, he was moved to a new role as a digital content producer.
