If you’re thinking of planning a summer road trip but aren’t sure where to go, you may want to consider Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The store just added a handful of new experiential offerings and product launches that will only be available for the summer. Along with permanent attractions like Hershey’s largest candy store, the free Chocolate Tour and a Create Your Own Candy Bar factory experience, new additions include exclusive treats and the chance to build your own 1-pound Reese’s cup!
The new Reese’s Stuff Your Cup experience begins Memorial Day Weekend and costs $14.95. First, you start with a 1-pound Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. You will watch as it gets filled with fresh peanut butter. Then, you can choose from more than 10 different mix-ins to make the ultimate Peanut Butter Cup.
The new oversized customizable Reese’s cup is just one of the chocolate dreamland’s new treats, which also includes a Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Milkshake and Kit Kat Key Lime Pie Milkshake, both priced at $8.
You will also be able to buy Hershey’s Ice Cream Shoppe Bars, which made their debut in Canada last year. The bars cost $1.85 and are inspired by ice cream flavors, including Strawberries ‘N’ Crème, Cookies ‘N’ Mint and Sprinkles ‘N’ Crème.
Hershey’s Chocolate World has also added a bar for the first time ever, which features beverages and candy pairings starting at $8. You’ll find local beers and renowned wines that pair with Hershey’s chocolate for a little something special just for adults.
You can even take a piece of the experience home with Custom Creation Kits that allow you to make your own Hershey’s bar or Reese’s Cup for $14.95. A Create Your Own Ultimate Milkshake Kit costs $24.95.
Looking for more candy-based experiences this summer? If you head to New York City, you’ll find a store dedicated to all things Sour Patch Kids. The Sour Patch Kids store is full of merchandise from clothing to accessories, and, of course, offers tons of candy.
You can also visit a new M&M’s Store at Disney Springs that has a 17-foot wall of chocolate, which includes 130 tubes of colorful chocolate. You’ll also find co-branded Disney and M&M’s merchandise that you can only get there.
M&M’s also opened another new store at the Mall of America that has interactive experiences including “M&M’s Sweet Moves,” where fans can express their personality through color, sound and movement. The store also includes M&M’s fan favorites, like the personalization station, signature M&M’s and exclusive in-store merchandise.
