COLORADO — Leftover Day is almost here!
Colorado Parks and Wildlife locations across the state are preparing for Leftover Day, which is Tuesday, Aug. 6th.
Starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, CPW will begin selling licenses that have gone through the draw process but still have a quota remaining.
According to CPW, licenses offered during the draw but not yet claimed often represent prime hunting opportunities and are available on a first come, first served basis. The agency said that in the past, lines have accumulated long before their office doors open.
If you don't want to camp out to be first or wait in long lines, you can also purchase licenses on line at cpwshop.com or by phone at 800-244-5613.
You can find the 2019 leftover list on CPW's website.
