Here are a few of the events going on around town this weekend.

Micki Free

Grammy Award Winner and 5 time Native American Music Award Winner Micki Free with come to town this weekend for two performances at Stargazers Theatre. Saturday will be a blues-rock guitar performance starting at 8 pm. Sunday he’ll be playing a Native American Flute show at 7 pm. Tickets will be $15 ahead of time, $20 day of, with a portion of proceeds from Sunday’s show going to One Nation Walking Together. Buy tickets and find more information here.

Big Aspen Happenin’

The changing aspen will provide a golden backdrop for the Third Annual Big Aspen Happnin’ Fall Festival in Cripple Creek this weekend. From 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday Bennett Avenue will be packed for a free street party with vendors, food, beer, live music, bounce houses, slides, an obstacle course, mechanical bull, and pumpkin patch photos to celebrate the season and the changing colors. Harvest Festival

The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey will hold their annual Harvest Festival this weekend. The festival will combine wine, artisans, food, and entertainment for a great celebration of this year’s harvest. The festivities will be going on from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday at the Winery. The festival is free and so is parking. Find more informationhere.

Heritage Brew Festival

The Fourth Annual Manitou Springs Heritage Brew Festival will be going on this Saturday. From 1 pm to 5 pm Memorial Park in Manitou Springs will be packed with over 30 brewers, 4 bands, food, and fun. Tickets start at $32.50 online. Early VIP entry is available.
