Here are a few of the events going on Around Town this weekend.

Pickin’ on the Divide

The Pickin’ on the Divide Bluegrass Music Festival returns to Monument this Saturday. Bluegrass bands performing from 11 am to 6:30 pm will include Wirewood Station, Flying W Wrangles, and Grass It Up, just to name a few. Aside from the music there will also be great food and vendors in Limbach Park in Monument. Tickets will be $15 for adults. Buy tickets and find more informationhere.

Steers and Beers

Over 90 breweries and distilleries will be pouring samples at the Antlers Hotel on Saturday for the Steers and Beers Brew Fest. Aside from whiskey and beer samples, there will also be live music and a mechanical bull to test your cowboy skills. General admission for a 5 pm to 8 pm session will be $40. $50 will get you a VIP ticket with a start time of 4 pm. Buy tickets and find more information here.

Ride for the Brand

The Norris Penrose Event Center will host the Ride for the Brand Ranch Rodeo this Saturday. The rodeo will start at 6 pm followed by a post-rodeo concert with Jason Boland & The Stragglers. The rodeo features working cowboys showing off their skills and animals. General admission will be $22. Buy tickets and find more information here.

Teddy Bear Day

Saturday is Teddy Bear Day at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. From 9 am to 4 pm your child can bring their favorite plush friend to the zoo for a fun day and a check up. Volunteers from Children’s Hospital Colorado will be there to treat any stuffed animal injuries and provide a certificate of “Beary Good Health”. Kids who bring a plush friend will get a discounted admission rate, $9.75. Adults will still be $24.75. Find more information here.
