Here are a few of the events going on for the first weekend of August.

Totlympics

Totlympics, olympics for toddlers, will test the abilities of 2-6 year olds in areas like soccer, biking, archery, track, golf, and more this Saturday. The day will stretch from 10:30 to 12:30 at Bear Creek Regional Park with plenty of adorable fun. Cost is $5 per child, pre-registration is encouraged. Mountain Arts Festival

The 33rd Annual Mountain Arts Festival is back in Woodland Park this weekend. From 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday the Ute Pass Cultural Center will have vendors selling pottery, paintings, wood workings, food, and more. Admission is free. Find more information here.

Vino and Notes

This year if the 11th anniversary of Vino and Notes in Woodland Park. From noon to 6 pm this Saturday Memorial Park in Woodland Park will have wine from over 20 wineries, food and wine pairings, jazz music, a beer garden, vendors and more. General admission is $35. Proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Teller County. Buy tickets and find more information here.

Back To School Summerfest

It’s back to school month and this Saturday Southeast Armed Forces YMCA will host a Back to School Summerfest. From 10 am to 2 pm there will be music, games, food, fun, giveaways, haircuts, free backpacks, supplies, and free vaccinations.  Those vaccinations will be while supplies last and vaccine records are required. The free event will be held at the Deerfield Hills Park and Community Center. Find more information here.
