VICTOR — Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers found a body in a remote mountain reservoir Friday after responding to a call for help.

CPW officers were called to the Skaguay Reservoir, in Teller County, Friday morning.

CPW alerted the Teller County Sheriff's Office, and the two agencies brought in boats and recovered a body after several hours of searching.

The sheriff's office is investigating the incident, and the Teller County Coroner's Office will determine a cause of death and identify the victim.

The 114-acre reservoir is located about 8 miles east of Victor along gravel roads. It's part of the 715-acre Skaguay Reservoir State Wildlife Area.
