ELBERT – Multiple fire crews responded to a hay baler and tractor that caught fire in Elbert Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters said the fire is now out but crews from Falcon, Peyton and Black Forest responded to the fully involved hay baler off Forest Green Way. Crews said a tractor also burned and is a complete loss along with the baler.

Approximately a half acre of grass around the tractor burned. Smoke was visible in the area Saturday.
Crews remained on scene throughout the day to mop up any hot spots. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
